The Effect of Democratic Leadership Style, Work Status, Compensation, and Work Environment on Employee Performance

This study aims to determine the influence of democratic leadership style, work status, compensation, and work environment on the performance of employees of the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The research method used is quantitative data method, which functions to determine the focus of the study, select informants as data sources, assess data quality, analyze data, interpret data and draw conclusions from the findings. The results of this research with t test (partial) show that Democratic Leadership Style has no significant effect on Employee Performance. Working status has a significant effect to Employee Performance. Compensation has no significant effect to Employee Performance. Work Environment has a significant effect to Employee Performance. The results of the f-stat (simultaneous) test show that Democratic Leadership Style, Employment status, Compensation and Work environment have a significant effect (simultaneously) on Employee Performance.
